See below
In memory, in honour, in truth
If you would like to attend or contribute your own words and memories. please let us know
There will be a video of the riverside uploaded at the time, showing calm and simple nature for a moment of reflection
On Saturday the 16th May 2026 I and some friends will be going to spend some time, holding space, for survivors known and unknown, here and no longer with us, then and now.
Personally in memory of survivors of abuse, grooming, exploitation, rape and violence in the Scottish Borders, Scotland and much further away.
A space open to all in memory and honour of all Survivors of abuse in all forms, survivors of trauma and loss, and those friends and loved ones impacted.
A visit to a riverside. Together.
In words and in silence, by action and rest, in music, art and by presence. Heart, soul and written memories. Simple acts of honour and respect. Together in grief but also in hope.
Letting the nature around us bring peace The water flowing as we hold space for our memories and unspoken feelings.
No pressure. No expectations. No rules.
Just a time to be.
To remember
To pause
To share
To honour and hold.
To walk together
To connect
To rest
To remember together
The hope is to make this an annual visit, a yearly act of remembrance and reflection. Different locations as appropriate, always somewhere accessible, calm and near water.
Online space for memories and connection will also be available along with a wee video of the riverside visited, some words and reflections shared.
Nothing grand. Simple and calm. Personal.
The link for the video, online space will be shared nearer the time.
Never forgotten. Forever loved

Use your vote. Have a voice
Research available candidates and political parties. Use your discernment. Align your vote with your values and priorities. Vote for yourself but also for your community.
Use the internet to look up what the candidates have been doing, saying, promoting and campaigning for over as long a period as possible. See patterns.
Look to what your community thrives at, what it needs and how that can be accessed by your party and candidate.
Most of all. Do what aligns and truly feels right for you.
Use your vote. It counts
